Toronto 2017 – “It’s a magical place to sit with friends and family to enjoy a cup of coffee” (BIA). Pine Valley is proud to have constructed the award-winning (“Gateway” category) vision for Baby Point Gardens, designed by Forest and Field, and developed by the Baby Point Business Improvement Area (BIA). Also known as the Methuen Parkette, this new urban space heralds a community gateway and a seating area for leisurely meetups. Located along Methuen Avenue and Jane Street in Toronto, Pine Valley drew upon it’s expertise to fabricate laser-cut weathering steel columns and custom “ipe” wood benches atop a beautifully manicured concrete and interlock walkway. We can’t wait for the lush greenery and colours, once plantings resume in the spring of 2017.
